Vintage Caged Glass Lampshade - #1 - beautiful hand blown Murano styleAvailable here is a beautiful vintage hand-blown caged glass lampshade.These were famously made at Murano in Venice, but similar types were made elsewhere, e.g. England, and the exact origin of this one isn't known to the seller. (Search the British Pathé account on YouTube for "Glass Lamps (1951)" for a fascinating documentary on how these were manufactured by incredibly skilled craftsmen!)
There are rather tacky modern machine made repros on the market, but this one is a genuine vintage hand-blown model, with brass metal cage and beautiful translucent milky-white glass.
This one comes without a fitting for a light globe, you would need to get an electrician to add one.
Shade is hard to measure exactly, dimensions given are approximate.
