$120.00

Up for sale is an authentic, beautifully aged 2-blade "Regular Jack" pattern pocket knife manufactured by the legendary Cattaraugus Cutlery Company out of Little Valley, New York. Based on the arched maker stamp, this piece dates roughly from the 1900s to the 1930s.Item Specifications and Features:

Maker Mark: Deep, crisp, and fully legible arched front tang stamp reading: "CATTARAUGUS CUTLERY CO. / LITTLE VALLEY"
Pattern Number: The reverse tang pattern number is no longer visible due to natural historical wear and cleaning by a past owner over its 100+ year life.
Blades: Two high-carbon steel blades extending from the same end—a large primary Spear point master blade and a smaller secondary Pen blade. Both blades retain excellent, full profiles and have not been over-sharpened into toothpicks.
Handle Material: Gorgeous, tight-grained smooth dark hardwood scales (likely Ebony or Cocobolo) with a lovely natural aged sheen.
Construction: Features a solid metal front bolster (Barehead style) and three flush-fitting brass pins.

Condition Report:
This is an honest, unmolested vintage user knife with fantastic character. The high-carbon steel features a natural dark gray patina with light localized pitting and carbon spotting appropriate for its age. The wood handles are in exceptional condition with zero cracks, splits, or structural shrinkage.Mechanical Note: Both blades have good mechanics for a knife of this age. They open and close smoothly, resting properly within the handle frame when closed. Related Items:
