Up for sale/sale is an authentic 1930s Art Deco Evans "Trig-A-Lite" combination cigarette case and pocket lighter, finished in rich glossy black enamel with chrome accents.Patent & Historical Context:
Inside top casing is clearly stamped: "EVANS PAT. 80179 OTHER PAT. PEND'G" alongside the original knurled fuel knob marked "EVANS TRIG-A-LITE".
Dating Info: US Design Patent D80179 for the combination case lighter mechanism was granted to Alfred F. Reilly (assigned to Evans Case Co.) on December 24, 1929. This places manufacturing squarely in the 1930s Art Deco period.Restoration & Service Details:

Flint Tube & Wheel: Flint passage cleared and wheel teeth cleaned for maximum spark friction.
New Wick & Rayon Packing: Fully repacked with fresh rayon wadding and a new cotton wick for reliable fuel draw.Condition Notes:
