Up for sale/sale is a stunning, authentic mid-century Grandmother’s Flower Garden quilt. This spectacular American textile heirloom is entirely hand-pieced and meticulously hand-quilted, showcasing incredible craftsmanship.This piece features the highly desirable, collectible "Garden Pathway" layout. Each vibrant multi-colored flower block is perfectly framed and separated by a crisp, uniform white hexagon border, giving it a beautiful geometric structure.• Width: (78 inches) Length: (96 inches)This piece has been kept in authentic, unwashed estate condition to preserve its historical integrity. There is one isolated, minor pin-sized brown storage spot on the white path and very light, localized yellow storage oxidation/age-toning on a few white hexagons. These are very typical for textiles of this age and should lift easily with a gentle, specialty vintage soak (like Orvus or Retro Clean) if the buyer chooses to wash it.
