beautiful, mid-century hand-carved olive wood sculpture depicting a classical female figure with an elegant updo hairstyle. This piece features stunning, highly defined natural wood grain patterns and a fluted pedestal base. What makes this piece particularly unique and highly collectible is the original ink stamp on the raw wood base, which reads:"Hand Carved Olive Wood Made in Bethlehem - Jordan."Because Bethlehem was administered and annexed by Jordan between 1950 and 1967, this stamp precisely dates the carving to a brief 17-year historical window. The base also retains its original workshop/artisan inventory markings ("OLXL").Condition:
Excellent vintage condition with a rich, natural luster. No major cracks, sun-fading, or structural splits. The wood grain is beautifully preserved. Please review all photos carefully to appreciate the artisan craftsmanship and exact condition. Related Items:
