Vintage handmade Afghan/Central Asian tribal headdress featuring colorful woven textile, metal ornaments, dangling coin decorations, and inset colored stones.
This is a beautiful ethnographic piece with extensive hand-applied metal embellishments and numerous coin pendants around the entire hat. The construction and materials indicate it is handmade rather than factory produced.
Condition:
* Good vintage condition with age-related wear consistent with use.
* The metal finial at the top is partially detached due to broken original stitching but remains attached to the hat (see photos).
* Metal shows natural patina and oxidation.
