Vintage Hazel Atlas Aztec Gold Medallion Shot Glasses Set 5 MCM Mayan Barware:
$52.49
Each glass is made of clear glass — there is no white or frosted decoration. The intricate design is entirely metallic gold, with alternating circular medallions surrounded by architectural/geometric borders and a repeating ornamental band near the rim.
The pattern is commonly identified in the vintage market as Hazel Atlas Aztec / Gold Medallion, although these smaller glasses are unmarked, so maker attribution is based on matching documented examples rather than a manufacturer's mark. Similar Hazel Atlas pieces appear in larger highball and barware forms.
Great little survivors from the golden age of elaborate mid-century cocktail glassware — perfect for a vintage bar cart, cocktail cabinet, or MCM glassware collection.
Set includes:
5 shot / cordial glasses
Measurements:
Approx. 2 5/8" tall
Approx. 2 1/4" diameter across rim
Condition:
Good overall vintage condition with no chips or cracks noted. The gold decoration varies considerably among the five glasses. Three retain the majority of their gold decoration, while two show noticeably heavier gold loss/wear, particularly to the decorative bands near the rims and portions of the medallions. Please review all photographs carefully; close-up photos specifically show the areas of greatest wear.
Because of the metallic decoration, recommend hand washing only.
