Vintage Johnny Winter T-shirt featuring a large portrait graphic with stylized JOHNNY WINTER lettering across the front.
The shirt has an older Masterbuilt label and is marked:
- 100% Cotton
- Size M
- Made in Taiwan
- RN 17737
The front has two handwritten signatures/inscriptions.
One inscription is clearly readable as:
“To Rick – Edgar Winter”
There is also a second, more faded signature that appears consistent with Rick Derringer.
Please note: Neither signature has been professionally authenticated. The Edgar Winter inscription is being identified based on the clearly legible name, while the second signature is being described as appearing to be Rick Derringer based on its appearance and the context of the collection. No third-party authentication or certificate of authenticity is included.
This shirt comes from my late father’s personal music and memorabilia collection.
He attended performances by Johnny Winter, Edgar Winter, and Rick Derringer and retained other concert tickets and signed memorabilia associated with these artists.
I do not have documentation establishing exactly when, where, or under what circumstances this particular shirt was signed, so I am not representing the signatures as independently authenticated or definitively documenting their signing history.
The shirt is being offered exactly as found in his collection.
ConditionThis is a heavily worn vintage shirt and shows substantial age-related wear.
Condition includes:

- Fading to portions of the handwritten signatures

The Johnny Winter graphic remains clearly visible, and the original Masterbuilt tag is still present.
The shirt has not been washed, spot-cleaned, restored, or treated since being removed from the collection. I have intentionally left it as found to avoid affecting the fabric, graphic, or writing.
