Face reads “This is a pair of Levi’s. They are the original blue jeans.” Two-horse trademark, Levi Strauss & Co., San Francisco, original riveted clothing, since 1850. Quality number printed as XX. Line at the bottom: “By pulling the staple this ticket can be removed.” Copyright line: Copyright 1966, by Levi Strauss & Co. Marca Reg. mark at the lower right. The “since 1850” and “over 100 years” lines are part of the printed design. The ticket itself is dated by the 1966 copyright.
CONDITION
Crease across the face, small tear at the bottom edge, and a scuff and light wrinkle on the blank back. Printing is readable. Sold as a loose paper ticket, not attached to a pair of jeans.
