Vintage Limoges France Champagne Cork Trinket Box Peint Main Grape Clasp Hinged:
$80.00
Vintage hand-painted Limoges porcelain trinket box shaped like a champagne cork, signed on the base "Peint main Limoges France" with the painter's initials.
The cork is painted in warm tan tones with brown speckling to look like real cork. The domed top has a clear, glossy center over golden yellow, lettered "CHAMPAGNE FRANCE" around the edge. The hinged lid closes with a metal clasp shaped like a bunch of grapes. Inside the lid is a hand-painted champagne glass with rising bubbles.
- Size: approx. 2 in tall
- Marked: "Peint main Limoges France," painter's initials
- Hinged lid with grape-cluster clasp; closes securely
- Condition: Pre-owned vintage. The speckled finish is part of the painted cork design, not staining. The metal hardware has a darkened patina consistent with age. Interior is clean. Please see all photos, as they are part of the description.
A fun collectible for wine and champagne lovers. It makes a great anniversary, wedding, or New Year's gift. Carefully packed and shipped.
