Vintage MCM Danish Modern Style Interlocking Wood Salt Pepper Shakers:
$65.80
A remarkable pair of vintage sculptural wooden salt and pepper shakers with an ingenious interlocking design.
Beautifully shaped from natural wood, these unusual mid-century modern shakers feature two dramatically different yet perfectly complementary forms that nest together like pieces of a wooden puzzle.
The pepper shaker has a tall, graceful hourglass silhouette with a dramatically narrowed waist, softly squared top, and beautiful honey-brown wood grain. Its companion, the salt shaker, has a more substantial, rounded form with rich, darker wood tones and striking natural grain patterns.
What makes this pair especially captivating is the relationship between the two shapes. When placed together, their contrasting curves create a wonderfully balanced, almost abstract wooden sculpture.
The design has a distinctive Danish Modern and Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic, with fluid organic lines, asymmetry, and an emphasis on the natural beauty of the wood.
Both pieces have perforated S and P lettering on their tops and removable stoppers shaker:

Top and base approximately 2½ inches square
