Vintage Mid-Century Cobalt Blue Black Glass Ashtray Table Lighter w/ Chrome Top:
$49.99

This is a vintage mid-century modern style table lighter and ashtray set crafted from glossy black and cobalt blue glass with a chrome-plated metal flip-top lighter mechanism.
The piece consists of a substantial ashtray base with a deep cobalt blue interior and black exterior rim (featuring a cigarette rest notch), paired with a matching black glass dome top that houses the removable chrome lighter insert.
Please see pictures as they show the set disassembled into the main ashtray, a smaller blue glass element, and the lighter mechanism, highlighting the modular design typical of these period smoking accessories.
The glass has a high-gloss, reflective finish that catches the light beautifully, with the rich cobalt blue contrasting sharply against the black. The chrome lighter top shows the classic flip mechanism with a textured thumb lever. No maker’s marks are clearly visible in the images, so the exact manufacturer is unidentified; similar pieces were produced in the 1950s–1970s, often in the United States, Japan, or Europe as decorative yet functional smoking sets for home bars, desks, or coffee tables.
Condition appears solid overall: the glass is intact with a glossy surface, minor age-related surface wear or light scratches consistent with vintage use, and the chrome mechanism is present and complete. These sets were popular mid-century decorative objects combining utility with bold color and modern form.
Buyers should review the pictures provided with the posting to determine the actual condition of the item, as the item in the pictures is what you would receive.
