Vintage Napco Winking Santa Mug KDX-244 Ceramic Japan 1950s MCM Christmas Cup 🏛️ FROM A PRIVATE FAMILY COLLECTION: An exceptional, highly preserved vintage 1950s Mid-Century Modern "Kitschmas" treasure. Retains its original glassy finish, blue underglaze mold stamp, and original metallic silver Napco foil label. 📐 Detailed Dimensions & Specifications ☕ Mug Dimensions 3.25 H x 4 L x 3 W (in inches) ⭕ Mouth Diameter 2.5 inches 🧪 Liquid Capacity 8 oz ⚖️ Weight 4 ⅞ oz 🎨 Rich Item Description & Collector OverviewA top-tier specimen of 1950s Mid-Century Modern "Kitschmas" design.
Produced in Japan by Napco (National Potteries Company) under mold number KDX-244, this ceramic mug features Santa in his classic playful winking pose, complete with hand-painted blush cheeks, expressive eyelashes, and dark accent lines detailing his sculpted beard.
What elevates this piece into true collector-grade territory is its remarkable state of preservation.
Vintage Japanese ceramics from this era frequently suffer from heavy cold-paint loss or fine spiderweb crazing due to decades of thermal expansion.
This piece retains a bright, glassy finish and completely clean interior walls.
The underside base retains both its stamped blue "KDX-244" mold mark and the original metallic silver "A Napco Ceramic JAPAN" foil label intact.
An essential addition for high-end MCM holiday displays or serious Napco ceramic collections.
