Vintage Resin Lucite Napkin Holder Boho 50’s Handmade 5 1/2”:
$18.99
Vintage mid-century lucite/resin napkin holder with paper embedded in amber-toned resin. Rounded shape on a rectangular base. Approx. 5 3/4" tall x 5" wide at widest spot. Shows expected age-related surface haziness and light wear; no cracks. One small area that seems to have worn off, it's very hard to see. See 2nd photo to view. These were a very popular 1960s-70s DIY/craft-kit item — lucite (acrylic resin) casting kits were widely sold so home crafters could preserve paper, pressed flowers, seeds, and botanicals by embedding them in clear resin. Lucite was hugely popular in the 60s and 70s, and these semi-transparent pieces catch light almost like stained glass; often made in home craft kits or sold by small studio makers rather than major manufacturers.
