Vintage Solid Brass Hurricane Candle Wall Sconces Pair:
$63.41
Add warm traditional character to an entryway, dining room, hallway, or living space with this pair of vintage solid brass wall sconces, featuring turned baluster-style arms, round reflective backplates, candle cups, and removable clear glass hurricane shades. Each sconce is labeled “Solid Brass Made in India” and was manufactured approximately during the 1970s–1980s, when Indian brass décor and Colonial Revival accessories were widely exported for the American home furnishings market. The sconces are designed as wall-mounted candle holders, with wire spring clips inside the brass cups that securely hold the glass hurricane chimneys in place around the candles. Their polished brass construction, elongated finial details, and graceful hurricane shades give them a classic Colonial Revival, Georgian, Federal, and traditional Williamsburg-inspired appearance, making them especially attractive displayed as a symmetrical pair beside a mirror, artwork, doorway, or mantel. Good vintage condition with minor wear, patina, and oxidation consistent with age and use.
Dimensions:
Each Sconce: 10” x 4” x 5”
