A vintage The Acme Thunderer metal whistle, marked “MADE IN ENGLAND” to the reverse.
Unusual flat/cased form with a large suspension ring to one end. There is also an old hand-scratched “H” to the reverse, presumably a previous owner's identification mark.
Measures approximately 2¼ inches long × ⅞ inch wide × 1 inch deep.
In used vintage condition with considerable age-related surface wear, marks, spotting and loss/tarnishing to the finish. Please study the photographs as these form an important part of the description.
An interesting old English whistle for a collector of vintage whistles, sporting memorabilia or unusual small collectables.
