Vintage USSR Filmstrip Projector Turquoise Space Age 1970s Retro Decor:
$130.00
Rare vintage Soviet filmstrip projector / viewer from the USSR, dating approximately to the 1970s–1980s.
A very interesting example of Soviet industrial design with a strong Space Age / Retro Futurist / Mid-Century Modern appearance. The streamlined body, large curved viewing screen and unusual turquoise-green plastic casing give it a wonderful futuristic character.
The turquoise color is especially attractive and very typical of the bold interior and appliance colors used during the 1960s–1980s.
Today this piece works beautifully as a decorative object for a retro interior, vintage office, studio, cinema room, collector’s display or Space Age-inspired interior.
Important:
We are selling this item primarily as a decorative collectible.
We do not have suitable filmstrips, so the projector has not been fully tested for film viewing or projection functionality.
The internal lamp does illuminate, as shown in the photographs. When switched on in a darker room, the softly glowing screen creates a very atmospheric effect, and the projector can even be used creatively as a vintage decorative night light.
The large side adjustment knob is present.
Original vintage electrical cord and Soviet-style plug are included. Please note that the plug and electrical system may not be compatible with modern electrical standards in your country. For safety, inspection by a qualified technician is recommended before regular electrical use.
Condition:
Authentic vintage condition with visible signs of age and previous use.
There are scratches, scuffs, surface marks and other cosmetic wear on the plastic body, black frame and viewing screen. The screen has noticeable scratches and age-related surface wear.
No restoration has been carried out.
Please carefully examine all photographs, as they form an important part of the description and show the actual condition of the item.
