Vintage Vidrio Uranium Glass Mixer Bowl Measuring Cup 14 oz Green Depression...:
$23.95
Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic vintage green Depression glass measuring cup / mixer bowl base manufactured by the Vidrio Products Corp. in the 1930s. This piece was originally designed as the bottom glass mixing container for their early electric kitchen mixers and hand-crank beaters, which explains its distinct tapered design, wide flat rim, and absence of a handle or pour spout.
Features dual embossed vertical grids:
- One side lists standard liquid ounces up to 12 oz (total capacity approx. 14 oz / 1-3/4 cups).
- The opposite side shows fractional cup measurements (1/4, 1/2, 3/4, etc.).
**VIBRANT UV GLOW:**
Tested under UV blacklight, this piece contains trace amounts of uranium oxide and glows a brilliant, unmistakable bright neon green.
**CONDITION:**
MINT CONDITION. This piece is in exceptional vintage shape with absolutely no chips, cracks, flea bites, utensil marks, or clouding. The glass is remarkably clear, and the embossed lettering remains sharp and easy to read. A truly pristine example for a serious uranium glass or depression-era kitchenware collector.
Please see all photos for exact measurements and details of the vibrant blacklight glow. Will be packed with extreme care using high-quality bubble wrap to ensure safe arrival.
