Up for sale is a vintage Tycos sphygmomanometer (blood pressure cuff) manufactured by Taylor Instrument Company, Rochester, New York.
The carrying case is marked:
Stock No. 3-713-100
The cuff retains its original Tycos label and appears to be an older medical instrument consistent with mid-20th-century hospital, clinic, military, or medical office vintage condition.
I have not tested or calibrated the unit, but it does inflate and release, and am selling it strictly as a collectible, display, prop, historical, or restoration item.
This is an interesting piece of medical history and would make a great addition to a collection of vintage medical equipment, military medical memorabilia, hospital antiques, or scientific instruments.
