Vtg 1971 Clay Ceramic Mouse "How About A Little Piece" by Artist Michael McKie:
$24.99
Vintage 1971 small clay sculpture of a mouse holding a wedge of cheese by artist Michael McKie. The artist developed a style to his sculptures that he referred to as "the uglies". He did work for some famous clients like Muhammad Ali, Evil Knievel, Terry Bradshaw and the old Los Angeles Rams to name a few. You could buy his statuettes and paint them yourself like the young lady did with this one (signed on bottom Ivy 76). It has some damage to various areas including where this one is titled on the front of the base. I believe it's titled, "How about a little Piece". Referring to the cheese, maybe 😉Someone with the right skill set might be able to repair and repaint. It's a one of a kind piece as it sits. Please see the photos for more details and don't hesitate to ask any questions. The last two photos is information about the artist that is available online.
