Vintage Red River Valley Council CSP - Rare T-1 First Issue Patch (1970-1973)
Up for sale is a highly collectible, authentic vintage Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Council Shoulder Patch (CSP) from the historic Red River Valley Council. Item Specifics & Features:
Council: Red River Valley Council
Issue Type: T-1 First Issue (The only officially registered CSP design for this council)
Geographical Text: NO. DAK. & MINN. (North Dakota / Minnesota)
Design: Arch-shaped, bright yellow background, bold red "R" centerpiece featuring a yellow Fleur-de-lis
Era: 1970 - 1973
Condition: Excellent unused.
Please see photos for exact details.
Why This Patch Belongs in Your Collection: Because the Red River Valley Council merged in 1973, these patches were only manufactured for roughly three years. This extreme rarity makes the T-1 a foundational cornerstone piece for any serious regional BSA collector or nationwide CSP enthusiast. Finding this piece with vibrant coloration and intact structural details is becoming increasingly difficult.
