WWII Japanese Army NCO Enlisted Field Cap Wool Named Sgt Nakamura Original P60:
$329.95
Original WWII Japanese Army enlisted / NCO field cap.
A well-preserved wartime example made from khaki wool with the original yellow cloth star machine-stitched to the front.
Approximate size: 53 cm
The cap retains its original chinstrap, made from a painted paper-based / ersatz material and secured with plain metal studs.
The rear retains all four loops for attaching the neck flap, and the adjustment cord is still present and tied tightly.
This example has the larger-style ventilation holes.
The interior retains its pigskin leather sweatband. The light linen lining has faded considerably with age, and the original inspection markings are now difficult to read.
A particularly interesting feature is the large handwritten ownership marking inside reading:
“Nakamura Gunso”
中村軍曹
Sergeant Nakamura
The cap shows normal age and field wear, but the wool body remains solid. The star, chinstrap, sweatband, rear loops, and adjustment cord are all still present.
A very attractive original Japanese Army field cap with named NCO provenance.
