WWII US M1943 Folding Entrenching Tool Shovel WOOD 1945 w Canvas Cover:
$35.00
Vintage military entrenching tool/folding shovel with olive drab canvas carrying cover and wooden handle.
Includes the shovel/tool and fitted canvas carrier shown in the photos. Canvas cover features metal snap closure and riveted construction. Wooden handle shows age and use. Overall pre-owned vintage condition with dirt, discoloration, surface wear and storage wear consistent with military field equipment.
No specific date, manufacturer or military branch is being claimed because identifying markings have not yet been located. Please review all photos for exact condition and included components.
If you can send me a picture of the metal shovel head opened up, especially both sides near the hinge, that’s where we may find the manufacturer/date. That marking can make a major difference in price, so I wouldn’t set the final price yet.
