  • Manufactured by the Triplett Electrical Instrument Co., Bluffton, Ohio, U. S. A.
  • The lid pattern is black with silver rays from a hub.
  • Model 227-A

The spec label has some writing, such as “66-179.” The bottom has some hand writing.
The box has edge wear and some surface marks. The printing is legible.
World War 2 Era Metal Gauge, Untested
  • Circular gauge in metal casing.
  • White text on black dial face 1.9 inch in diameter.
  • Black metal casing.
  • 2.5 inch diameter x 1.2 inch tall case.
  • Glass dial cover and needle.
  • Flush mount with 2 mounting screws.
  • Only 1 mounting screw bolt sticks to a magnet.
  • 6.5 ounce weight.
This gauge is in good structural condition. The window glass is cracked.

  • 3235 is stamped in yellow.
  • US Navy anchor inspection stamp in red.
The inspection stamp confirms that it was formally verified and accepted by a U. S. Navy Material Inspector.
