Colombian emerald in calcite matrix, total weight 4.2 grams.
Really nice small cabinet specimen featuring a well-formed double terminated emerald crystal alongside a second emerald crystal on matrix. The main crystal shows good structure with visible vertical striations and intact termination on both ends.
The smaller crystal is really the showstopper! Great Clarity, composition is excellent and the color is a strong, classic Colombian green with good clarity for a natural matrix specimen.
The contrast against the calcite, along with the iron staining, gives it a great display presence from all angles.
