Vintage Steampunk Coat in Heavy Canvas70sUSSRThis is a so-called "guard cloak."Such cloaks were widely used in paramilitary and military organizations in the USSR (military guards, prison guards, paramilitary security at sensitive facilities (ports, factories, nuclear power plants, etc.). This clothing was not sold in stores; it was departmental workwear. The cloak's main feature is that it is made of very thick canvas, essentially ship's canvas. The buttons are metal, painted green enamel with a star, hammer, and sickle.Size: Shoulders 52 cm, sleeve 60 cm. Cloak length 124 cm.The cloak has not been worn, but has minor stripes and signs of long-term storage (on the back), which I show in detail in the photo.
