1/1 Vintage Photo Earliest Known "Proof Of Delivery" Oct 1955 Shadow On Package:
$1738.00
This iconic image from October 1955 is believes to be the first ever documented proof of delivery photo. For those who understand the cost of a camera, film, and developing a photo in 1955, you would think this would be a wasted photo, but for those with an eye for photography will see the visionary this photographer was, documenting a simple package delivery, not knowing this photo would begin an onslaught of pictures of boxes on doorsteps with shadows of human form overcast.
For the low low price of $10,000 for this one of a kind art piece could be yours and you can always confirm that this holiday greeting was, in fact, delivered before christmas!
Disclosure: it is unconfirmed whether or not there are any earlier photos of packages on doorsteps that exist. This is simply believed to be the earliest with a shadow eerily reminiscent of the photos you use to track down the ones amazon delivered to the wrong address.
Ps. All proceeds from this sale will go to help save a small town bowling alley from financial difficulty.
