DescriptionAn exceptional and complete mid-19th-century miniature circular thermoplastic Union Case, historically cataloged as theKrainik-733 geometric/sweetheart pattern. Each image is bordered by its original, highly reflective die-stamped starburst gilded brass mat and protective preserver ring:

Left Portrait:A captivating bust-length portrait of a young Victorian woman or older adolescent girl in profile, wearing a structured headband and delicate drop earrings, enhanced with light hand-tinting to the cheek.
Right Portrait:A remarkable, high-contrast portrait of a young girl looking directly into the camera lens with hand-tinted cheeks while prominently holding a tiny periodVictorian doll.

Condition Report

Case:Excellent overall condition. The exterior retains sharp, unrubbed definition to the molded details. No major chips or cracks.
Photographs:The right tintype (girl with doll) exhibits excellent clarity, strong contrast, and beautifully preservedhand-painted cheek coloring. The left tintype shows typical, age-appropriate pitting, spidering, and emulsion spotting to the surface chemistry, though the original hand-tinting remains visible under close inspection.
