This charming antique postcard from 1907 features a delightful illustration of a young girl in a green dress reaching out to a large dragonfly. The scene is set in a vibrant spring landscape with lush green grass, flowering trees resembling cherry blossoms, and a small stream. Additional dragonflies are depicted within a circular frame in the background, adding to the whimsical nature of the design. The card bears the series number 'S.1201.' on the front. The reverse side shows a clear Idaho postmark dated September 14, 1907, with an 11 AM timestamp. The card is addressed to 'Miss Helen Romer' in 'Moscow, Idaho' and includes a handwritten message in English. This postcard is a wonderful piece of ephemera, capturing the artistic style and communication methods of the early 20th century. It would be a fantastic addition to any collection of non-topographical postcards, nature-themed art, or historical correspondence. Related Items:
