Original vintage 1947–1948 Ford passenger car hood ornament displayed on a beautiful custom-made wood presentation stand labeled “1948 Ford Super Deluxe.” Features the iconic streamlined chrome body with translucent blue Lucite/Plexiglas insert.
This is an actual automotive hood ornament that has been converted into an impressive display piece—not a miniature reproduction or decorative model.
Chrome shows age-appropriate surface wear, scratches, oxidation/pitting and finish loss, particularly near the front/nose area. Blue insert remains present and displays beautifully. Wood stand is very attractive with contrasting woods and a black/gold identification plaque.
