For sale is a nice pair of 1996 Limited Edition $10 Silver Strikes from the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada (now The STRAT). Both tokens are still in their original clear protective capsules and are in excellent collectible condition with sharp details and minimal wear.
Token 1 (Left – Tower Logo Design):
• Obverse: “1996” above the iconic Stratosphere Tower, “Stratosphere” script, “Las Vegas, Nevada”, and “.999 Fine Silver”
• Classic 1996 opening-year design
Token 2 (Right – Towers of the United States Design):
• Obverse: “Towers of the United States” with Washington Monument obelisk, “Height 555 Feet”, “Inauguration Date 1885”, “Washington D.C.”
• Fun landmark-themed strike tying into the Stratosphere’s tower theme
These are genuine bimetallic Silver Strikes with a .999 fine silver center (roughly 0.5–0.6 oz per token) in a brass outer ring. They were issued as limited-edition gaming/collector tokens during the Stratosphere’s grand opening in 1996.
