OUR DESCRIPTION
A Scarce Original Antique 1920's Brass French Mother-In-Law Candlestick Telephone for Display Only.It will be Sold AS IS and Untested. It is missing the button on the bottom. This one is marked from Paris on the metal tag on the base. The watch case receiver is marked S.H. Couch so it would be the incorrect receiver for this phone but it will be sold with this phone. I do not see any elements inside the handset. I do not see any damage to the Bakelite on the handset or watchcase receiver. A similar one is pictured in Kate Dooner's Book Telephones Modern to Antique on page 84 right side. This was in my personal collection for a short time. This is a very hard candlestick to find in this original good condition so, please don't let it slip by you. This is one of those old antique candlestick phones from back in the late 1800's.It's neat to think that this phone was in service back when it was a simpler time and era. Please look at all of the pictures for further description.
