Antique 1910s Woman Garden Arbor Snapshot Photo 3.25x4.25 B&W Gelatin OrigOriginal antique 1910s black-and-white snapshot photograph on gelatin-silver paper depicting a woman posed outdoors in a garden setting.
The vertically oriented image shows a half-length portrait of the woman standing beneath a wooden arbor or trellis thickly covered with leafy vines, facing the camera in a dark coat and light blouse with a textured decorative hat.
Soft foliage fills the background behind the sitter, with a vertical wooden post to one side adding structure to the composition and emphasizing the informal outdoor environment.
The print is a small black-and-white gelatin-silver photograph with a narrow light border on single-weight paper, typical of early 20th-century amateur portrait snapshots.
The reverse side is plain photo paper carrying a handwritten ink inscription that identifies the subject by name, with no printed photographer or studio information.
A separate handwritten reference slip pictured with the photograph notes 3.25" x 4.25" as a size guide for the piece.
Actual Measurements: 3.25" x 4.25".
The listing is for one loose, unmounted and unframed original photograph only; any brass display stand, handwritten reference slip, or other props seen in the images are used solely for scale and presentation and are not included.
Condition: Original antique 1910s black-and-white gelatin-silver snapshot photograph on paper with typical light handling and storage wear from age and use. Upper right corner has a diagonal crease with a small bend and slight tip wear, and the right side includes a vertical dark border line with an adjacent lighter area of surface wear or fading within the foliage. Corners and edges display slight softening and minor waviness without tears or paper loss. Reverse side has light toning, a small discolored area near the lower edge, and a handwritten ink inscription identifying the sitter by name. Photograph is offered as a single loose unmounted and unframed original print only; any brass display stand, measurement slip, or other props visible in the listing images are used solely for scale and presentation and are not included.
