Up for sale is an incredibly rare piece of Tennessee history: the genuine 1914 edition of the Salmagundi hardcover yearbook for Boscobel College for Young Ladies in East Nashville, Tennessee.
Founded in 1889, Boscobel College permanently closed its doors in 1914, making this volume the final publication ever produced by the school.
This 112+ year-old antique volume features an embossed dark cover with gold gilt gothic lettering. The senior class colors are listed as Purple and Gold, and the class flower is the Violet. It provides a fascinating, deep dive into early 20th-century Southern women's education, complete with faculty listings, campus organizations, and beautifully illustrated student profiles.

• Angie Steele (Voted "Most Angelic", Y.W.C.A. President)
• Audrey Ellis
• Eva Thompson
• Alleen Sawyers (from Bauxite, Arkansas)
