Wonderful older Japanese military group photograph featuring approximately 50 uniformed Japanese men posed together outside a large wooden building, believed to date from the early to mid-20th century, possibly the pre-WWII or WWII era.The men wear matching dark military-style uniforms with peaked caps, high collars, and insignia. Many are holding traditional Japanese military swords, including what appear to be officer-style swords with wrapped handles and scabbards. The front row is seated with swords prominently displayed, while several additional rows of uniformed men stand behind them.An especially interesting historical image featuring a large gathering of Japanese military personnel, potentially officers, cadets, or members of an organized military institution. A vertical Japanese-language sign is also visible near the building entrance.Photograph Details:Approximate size: 6 x 4 inchesOlder black-and-white Japanese photograph
