A beautiful and scarce early 20th-century art pottery large water pitcher produced by the renowned Roseville Pottery Company. This impressive piece is the hard-to-find large wide-mouth variant, featuring a dramatic flared oval neck and a sweeping pouring spout designed for classic table service.The piece features two distinct transfer decal scenes from Roseville's early folk art line set against a warm, yellow-cream ground:Front Side: Depicts three Dutch children in traditional attire walking hand-in-hand.Back Side: Features two traditional Dutch women carrying a large laundry or market basket accompanied by a child.The rim is neatly accented with Roseville's signature subtle blue painted outline striping. As is completely correct and expected for authentic Roseville utility creamware from this pre-1916 production era, the pitcher is physically unmarked.
