History of the Audi Avus Quattro Concept:
The Audi Avus Quattro debuted in 1991 as a radical aluminum-bodied concept car showcasing Audi’s advanced engineering capabilities. Named after the famous AVUS racetrack in Germany, it featured a mid-mounted W12 engine concept and fully polished aluminum body panels that made it one of the most futuristic cars of its era. Although it never reached production, the Avus influenced Audi’s design language and previewed the use of aluminum space-frame construction. Today it remains one of the most iconic and visually striking concept cars ever created.
