Authentic Acomo Pueblo Pottery Seed Jar Fine Line Hand Coiled Kathy Victorino KV:
$379.00
Offered is a beautiful, authentic Native American seed jar from the Acoma Pueblo in New Mexico, handmade by artist Kathy Victorino. The piece showcases a stunning monochrome fine-line geometric design contrasted against a highly detailed corrugated texture on the upper shoulder. Notice the interior of the jar features distinct, authentic coil ridges along the top and bottom shoulders - a beautiful testament to its traditional, labor/intensive hand-coiled construction.
Because Victorino trained directly under the respected mid-century Acoma potter Beverly Garcia, her work carries a prestigious creative lineage and showcases incredible geometric symmetry. Perfect addition for collectors of Southwest Native American art or modern pottery.
