D. Hillson Novelty Leather Hide Shape They Stretch 'Em In Antique 1907 Postcard:
$4.95
Antique Western novelty postcard featuring a cowboy on horseback swinging a lasso, printed within a large brown animal-hide-shaped design. Irregular edges and shaded folds give the illustrated hide a dimensional appearance against the cream background. The bold caption “They stretch ’em in” leaves space for a personalized location or message. The front bears a printed 1907 copyright credit to D. Hillson, while the divided back identifies Series 2200 “Hide Pictures,” comprising eight subjects. Unposted (UNP), this non-topographical printed illustration offers appeal to collectors of early cowboy postcards, roping scenes, and unusual novelty designs.
