$159.00

Up for sale is a rare, discontinued Buck 860 Hartsook Ultralite Neck Knife. This is a highly collectible, featherweight backup fixed blade designed in collaboration with custom knife maker Doug Hartsook.Unlike the more common budget Buck Smidgen, the premium Hartsook model features high-end CPM S30V stainless steel that underwent Buck's legendary Paul Bos Heat Treatment(stamped with the famous Bos flame logo on the blade). This process tempers the steel to an optimal 59.5–61 RC hardness, offering incredible edge retention and corrosion resistance in a micro profile.
This specific knife features the official Buck "→" date code stamp, marking it as a 2009 production run. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a late-run specimen of the legendary premium Hartsook series before it was discontinued by Buck.
