A very high-quality NOS Johnson capacitor. PN 158-4-28, stamped CT14E042J. Looks like a house part number, but it's a type-K series with a 1/4 shaft instead of a slotted screw terminal, so you can actually put a knob on it! It has It has 12 nickel-plated brass plates, 0.015" spacing (Johnson claimed 1000V DC, YMMV). Mounting is easy with a pair of 4-40 screws, and the mounting holes themselves are insulated from both the rotor and stator. The shaft is 1" long measured from the raised mounting holes. You'll want at least 1-1/4" clearance behind the panel.I measured this out to be about 3-45pF, which is about right interpolating from part numbers I could find.

Comes in original MIL-spec packaging.
