Embury No. 160, Hibbard Spencer Bartlett OVB Kerosene Lantern:
$95.00
Late 1920's Embury No.160 kerosene lantern. Ready to use or display. Lantern was made for the retailer Hibbard Spencer Bartlett Co. out of Chicago. These were marketed under the Our Very Best (OVB) slogan of the company. The lantern is 100% unrestored original. It has the original old Embury green paint. The lantern has been detail cleaned and has no oil residues or odors. The burner has been solvent cleaned. A new 7/8" wick is installed. The fuel tank has original shiny tin plate on its inside. No leaks. There are pictures of the lantern burning. After these photos the lantern fuel was emptied and the tank dried. The fuel cap has a 100% good gasket. A great burning original example of the OVB No. 160. Lantern is 100% straight. A few very small dings. 100% crown tabs and bale clips. Fuel cap has a dent, but adds character.
