Emphatic Diaglott 1870 J-21 Hardbound facsimile New Testament Bible. This version is a very rare larger print edition from the original. This would have been the very edition that C.T. Russell used as well as the early Bible students before the plates were purchased in 1902.
Here is a beautiful rare hardbound 1870 edition facsimile reproduction of the "EmphaticDiaglott". [This is the translation that C.T. Russell himself used to seethat God's Name Jehovah was in the New Testament as well as the Greek word"parousia" was translated as "presence" in Matt. 24:3 whichhelped him see the truth that Jesus has a Kingly presence since 1914. Also atJohn 1:1 has "a god" in the Greek text] It has the Divine nameshown in the New Testament as"Jehovah". Please see thephoto in Matt. 22:44 where Jesus quotes the Old Testament and the name"JEHOVAH" is used.
[This version alsohas a very nice appendix with very interesting statements about the words"Lord" "Soul" This Bible says : "Not once is the wordimmortal" and so forth that is of interest to Jehovah's Witnesses andothers interested in Biblical meanings].
Also under theAppendix to the NEW TESTAMENT says under "LORD" :"When the wordrepresents the dread name of Jehovah or Yahweh, it is printed LORD in smallcapitals in the authorized version" pg. 26. So this Translation admitsthat "JEHOVAH" is suppose to be wherever the King James or"authorized version" had LORD in all caps in the NEW TESTAMENT !!!
The Emphatic Diaglott was first printed in 1864 and was usedby the early Bible Students and C.T. Russell. It is known as J-21 in the NewWorld Translation with References and the Kingdom Interlinear as a referencefor the name Jehovah in the New Testament.
From the New World Translation Appendix A3 has this quote
