Framed Letter From Herbert Hoover to Joseph Eisendrath, Signed by Hoover, 1962Framed Letter from President Herbert Hoover to Mr. Joseph L. Eisendrath, Jr., President of Banthrico Industries Inc. The letter urges Mr. Eisendrath, Jr’s company to donate to The Boy’s Clubs of America. Herbert Hoover was serving as the chairman of The Boys’ Clubs of America at the time. The letterhead and a plaque at the bottom of the frame indicate that the letter was sent in 1962. The letter is hand signed by Hoover, but the body is typed. Plaque at the bottom of the frame reads ‘1962 Pres. Hoover Letter For Charitable Contributions’. Piece measures roughly 19.4” x 15.4”, with an interior measurement of roughly 11.65” x 7.55”. Piece is in acceptable condition, with the frame itself showing significant age appropriate wear. See photos.
