George Wallace Alabama Political Memorabilia Lot — 3 Pieces
Interesting vintage George Wallace political memorabilia lot featuring three Alabama / Wallace related collectible pieces. This lot includes a 1998 Mobile Register memorial newspaper insert, a Wallace campaign button, and a two-sided black-and-white Wallace campaign flyer with an attached red “Wallace for Governor” sticker.
This is a strong historical ephemera lot for collectors of Alabama political history, Southern campaign memorabilia, George Wallace items, political buttons, newspaper inserts, and vintage election/campaign paper collectibles.
Included in this lot:
1. Mobile Register Wallace Memorial Newspaper Insert
Dated Sept. 15, 1998, with large front portrait graphic reading “Wallace 1919–1998.” Inside includes a timeline-style spread of Mobile Register headlines and articles related to Wallace’s political career.
2. Wallace Campaign Button
Small round “Wallace” pinback button with blue lettering on a light background. Pinback is present. Shows age/storage wear, scuffing, discoloration, and surface marks.
3. Wallace Campaign Flyer with Sticker
Two-sided black-and-white flyer reading “Wallace. We need his leadership again. Now, more than ever.” Includes campaign text on the reverse and a red circular “Wallace for Governor” sticker attached to the front.
Condition: Vintage/pre-owned paper and button lot with age and handling wear. Newspaper insert has folds, creases, edge/corner wear, toning, and general newspaper aging. Flyer has fold lines, wrinkles, creasing, light soiling, small tear, and handling wear. Button has visible scuffs, discoloration, age wear, and wear to the back/pin area, but the pin is present.
