1500–1525 A.D. Wallace Collection A.479 Inspired Two-Handed Long Sword – HEMA Training
This handcrafted two-hand long sword is based on the historic 16th-century Type XX sword associated with the Wallace Collection, London (A.479), originally found in the River Thames.
The sword features an elegant complex swept-style hilt with side rings and finger protection, inspired by the original historical design. The blade has a triple-fullered Type XX profile with a long ricasso, giving it an authentic historical appearance while being configured here as a blunt HEMA practice/training sword.
