Look at this beauty!
Here’s a gorgeous Mosser Glass pink opalescent hen on nest covered dish in a soft, dreamy pink that glows with creamy white opalescence along the edges and high points. The color is absolutely lovely in person — delicate yet rich, with that classic Mosser glow that catches the light so nicely.
This is the full-size split-tail style with wonderful detail: feathered body, alert comb and wattles, textured wings, and the classic scalloped “rope” or twisted-rim nest base. It’s a two-piece covered dish that works perfectly as a candy dish, trinket box, or pure display piece. Handcrafted in Cambridge, Ohio by Mosser Glass — real American pressed glass.
Approximate measurements (from the photos with tape measure):
• Length: approx. 6.5 inches
• Height: approx. 4.5 inches
Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks, or damage. Clean and bright. (As with all hand-pressed glass, minor mold lines or tiny bubbles may be present — these are normal and part of the charm.)
It looks fantastic in farmhouse, cottage, vintage, or Easter displays and makes a wonderful gift for hen-on-nest collectors.
Ships carefully packed with plenty of protection so she arrives safely.
