Using amulti-step sanding process, we carefully remove by hand all the layers of yourgreat grandparent’s old dark mahogany stain, as well as all other repairsneeded for these masterpieces. Once the cabinet reaches the bare wood stage, modern day stains and toners are used to highlight the natural woodgrains. The cabinet is then treated with a series of thin high gloss clearcoat lacquer applications in a controlled environment. The action of wetsanding is applied between each clear coat, eliminating any orange peel effect.A final hand-glazing is applied, ensuring for a beautiful mirror like lusterand shine!
We strive tobring these cabinets back to life, the way we feel they should have or couldhave looked. By using modern day custom color stain blends and toner color accentoptions that ceased to exist in the past, along with our combined color &finish studies enable us to complete these cabinets inavariety ofGolden Oak Finishes!
