The compound eyes of this specimen are finely prepped allowing you to count each of the lenses of the compound eyes. This one is outstretched and nicely situated on a 5-inch piece of dark gray matrix. Matrix has been prepped down to provide a striking light gray outlining the trilobite. Trilobite would be about 2.5 inches from head to tail if fully outstretched. Natural color with no restoration. The cube is for size perspective as it measures 1 cm. It is not part of the sale.
