Please see photos for reference.A rare and sought-after first edition *1976 book (#285/1000) for the pre-inter cooled era of Porsche Turbo Carrera's (75-77) of which only 1,237 were produced for the United States, and 2,819 worldwide.As written from Karl L. on Pelican Parts Technical Forum (1-25-2010) :Porsche and Audi in the US had taken a lot of orders for the Porsche Turbo, but the cars were slow in coming. For that reason they commissioned this book as a product to placate the intending owners and asked me to write it. It was never sold commercially at the time it was released.
